Peelie, Hang tag, Wrapped mini

Companies will try and give many incentives for people to buy a product. Lets look at some of them.

The wrapped mini is highly effective marketing trick. You get the bonus for buying the large item.

No, you cannot unwrap it and just take the mini. That would be stealing. Yes, you can price match that product and still get the mini for free. You can also use a coupon on the price matched item.

 

If the mini is hanging and not wrapped it is still not OK to remove it and take it with you. It is also stealing.

Hang tag is a coupon hanging from the top of the product.
It is meant to be used on that product only. You can still price match the product and use the hang tag. Mind you since the hang tag is a normal coupon you can never use it together with another coupon (Unless it is a store specific coupon and the store allows stacking). No, it is not OK to take those and use them at another store.

Peelie is exactly like a hang tag. It is a coupon stuck to the product. In this case it could be for that product or can be used on another product.  It is a normal coupon so it can be used always in a combination with a price match but you cannot use another coupon on the same item (Unless a store specific coupon and the store allowed stacking)

It is NOT ok to remove the peelies and take them home for later use. They are meant to be given to you ONLY if you buy the product. It is OK to use the peelie on that product on the same day.
